Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on the 5th of February 1964. Linney is an American actress who is known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also vulnerable. Linney was born into the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father, Romulus Linney, was a writer. Linney earned her bachelor's degree at Brown University, and then continued to attend Arts Theatre School Moscow. New York City, 1990.
